I dread the day when these events will be ‘only’ 7,000yen, 8,000, 9,000, etc.

ha ha I agree… sometimes I see ad saying “Only 5000 yen”, and wonder how many people actually find it reasonable and how many others are feeling it’s rather expensive. Some events are great for even 7000 yen but it’s not always the case
